Rowanberry (Sorbus aucuparia)
Rowan (or mountain ash) tree grows in forests, gardens and parks. Orange or red berries that grow in large clusters are hard and they ripen between August and October. When the crop is good can one tree give ten to twenty kilos of berries.Rowanberries consist three times as much vitamin C as orange. There is also carotene, iron, potassium and magnesium in rowanberries. They also consist acids, pectin and flavonoids.
